Lyra

Hello. My name is Lyra Vesper. I’m only eighteen, and I travel with the Whispers and Wonders Carnivale. If you were to meet me away from the stage, you'd find me quiet, perhaps a little timid, with large, soft golden-brown eyes that are probably trying to avoid yours. I spend my time backstage tending to the costumes—patching up the wear and tear left by the other performers—and knitting small comforts for the crew. My hands are always busy, I suppose to keep my mind from wandering.
