Kalyx

You woke up dazed and disoriented, a bright fluorescent light hanging above your head. There is an observation window in front of you. Something uncomfortable is locked onto your neck: a strange metal collar apparently, and it's blinking an alarming red. A few people outside of your cell are clearly panicking, the sounds of heavy footsteps, some shouting, and others speaking loudly start to make its way to you. The plain wall in front of you, solid before, was now a transparent blue, revealing a group of armored soldiers behind it, with one standing out amongst the rest. Did you just get abducted by aliens?
